Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. I need assistance in identifying the appropriate set of compilers to install for this Qt version and also locating the debugger. Even other compiler versions like 17 (x86, amd64-x86, amd64, x86_amd64) show the same warning sign. Since I have Visual Studio 2022 installed on my system, it's possible that these compilers aren't compatible with Qt. The compiler "Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler 14.0 (amd64)" (x86-windows-msvc2015-pe-64bit) may not produce code compatible with the Qt version "Qt 5.12.12 MSVC2017 64-bit" (x86-windows-msvc2017-pe-64bit).However, there are some issues with the MSVC kit: The MinGW kit is functioning smoothly without any warning icons. My current selections from the Qt installer are as follows: However, there's a challenge: MSVC (be it 2017 or any other version) isn't equipped with preconfigured compilers and debugger settings. If you encounter any problems during your attempt to compile and run the sample project, check out our Qt Creator troubleshooting page.I want to use MSVC kit in Qt, because I have library that contains (lib/dll) files that I want to use in my project. Now your machine should work just fine for working on our homework assignments. If it runs properly, you will see a window appear with a smiley face. This is the part where Java is needed, so if your Java isn't properly installed, this is probably where it will fail. Now that it's built, you should be able to Run (Ctrl+R or Command+R) your SampleProject. If you click on the "1 Issues" tab at the bottom of the screen and there no issues (or if there are only yellow warning sign issues), the program compiled correctly. qmake.cache: No such file or directory." You can ignore most of those warnings. ![]() You may get some warnings that "QMAKE_CXX.MACROS" are not defined, or "Cannot find. If it builds properly, your C++ compiler and the Stanford C++ libraries are at least compiling properly. Now you should be able to Build (Ctrl+B or Command+B) your project in Qt Creator. You can just accept the defaults and click "Configure Project". Qt Creator will ask you a few questions about how to set up the build process for this project. Navigate to the SampleProject folder and open the file SampleProject.pro. In Qt Creator, choose "File" → "Open File or Project." or press Ctrl+O (or Command+O on Mac). You should have a directory named SampleProject with several files and folders inside.
